Cleaning Job- Nicotine Residue Removal

In this video, Derek is onsite with one of our crews at a cleaning job to remove nicotine residue. Years of nicotine residue can create a very heavy film and become odorous. To tackle this job technicians Naomi, Pam and Lexi wash the surfaces with detergents and deodorizers. Then with a little elbow grease, they remove years of buildup to provide a clean slate for a new coat of paint. The key thing with nicotine damage is to get as much of the grime off as you can before starting new projects on the surfaces such as painting. Otherwise, the residue can bleed through and destroy your hard work.
