Hurricane Irene: 10 Years Later
10 Years Ago: Hurricane Irene
First making landfall in North Carolina and steadily making its way up the east coast, Hurricane Irene left a trail of destruction in several states before high winds and tremendous rainfall flooded rivers and streams throughout Vermont. The damage was extreme, and the wreckage can still be seen today in areas of Vermont.
Our team was fortunate and thankful for the assistance of several other New England-based SERVPRO franchises. With our teams working together, we were able to accommodate so many businesses and homes that required emergency mitigation services. Hurricane Irene truly was an event that will not be forgotten.
