Water Damage at the Ski House

Traveling to the ski area is a great way to escape the everyday hustle and bustle during the Winter season. This is especially true when you have a home or dwelling located right on the side of the mountain. It is very important however, to make sure your property is checked regularly when you're not there. This property located on a ski area in Southern Vermont experienced heavy water damage as a result of a broken pipe. Luckily, the person checking the property on a regular basis caught the break before the damage got any worse. In any event, the water spread from the second floor bathroom sink where the break took place and caused substantial damage to the finished basement. in order to mitigate, SERVPRO removed damaged drywall, trim boards, insulation. carpeting, carpet pad and even some furniture. High-powered drying equipment was installed and the property was thoroughly dried and turned over to the contractor for repair within only a few days.
