Mold Damage – Brattleboro Apartment

Mold damage at this Brattleboro apartment began with a leaky old water heater. SERVPRO of Windham & Windsor Counties was called in to get the mold problem under control before a new water heater was installed. When our trained technicians assess mold damage situations, they commonly construct containment area to prevent mold spores from traveling throughout the residence while mold remediation is taking place. Once the containment area was put in place any drywall that was too damaged to restore would be torn out and disposed of properly. With drywall removed our technicians could clean and dry the area between the walls. An antifungal agent would be used to inhibit future mold growth before the drywall was replaced.
