Brattleboro Flooding from a Water Line
This Brattleboro office suite was soaked overnight from a broken water line. The volume of water was high enough to attack the vinyl coving, walls, and saturate the commercial grade carpeting. Our SERVPRO of Windham/Windsor Counties technicians knew precisely what to do to mitigate the water damage. Most of the water was suctioned out, and then we immediately set up axial fans to increase the circulation rate of airborne moisture which was then captured and contained by that large green piece of equipment-the LGR Low Grain Refrigerant Dehumidifier. The plywood subfloor absorbed sufficient water to cause delamination to start. By removing and discarding the short-napped carpet, we managed to salvage the sheathing thus saving considerable time and money for the final restoration and replacement. The base of the drywall panels were also salvaged by our immediate step of removing the baseboards to dry the wall cavities. The After Photo depicts how our well-trained team, within hours, made our client very happy with minimal loss and downtime.
